Best player when he is playing well* If he plays as he has been last two/three games then others in the team outshine him

Just what we need next up, a rip roaring, free scoring, title pushing team away from home who we beat 3 times last season and have just suffered a humiliating defeat due to 20 minutes of hubris.

It might help if stopped asking our most creative player to spend most of the game covering his full back because we're so fucking slow going forward we end up defending for most of the game. 3-4-3 doesn't work if you sit back. Payet is never going to be a workhorse and we didn't buy him to be one. If you actually support him from behind as well as in midfield, he might not get the hump. Personally I don't blame him.

Park the bus, stop the bleeding, play for the point. I know it's fucking negative, but we do not have the luxury of attacking at this point. look to hit them on a set piece. We don't stand a chance of going pound for pound, especially given morale. Carroll absolutely cannot start at this point. I'd much rather have him for 10 short substitute appearances than 1 start.
